I found the layout for this card on Dawn Olchefske's site (www.dostampingwithdawn.com) She does a series of cards that she refers to as "QC" which stands for "quick and cute." I took Dawn's basic design and just added a few extra layers to it. This card style would be another great way to use up your scraps. With the bold print on the DSP, it just seemed like a perfect masculine card.
cardstock: Smokey Slate (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4")
Basic Black (4-1/4" x 3") and (2-3/4" x 1-5/8")
Whisper White (2-1/2" x 1-3/8")
ink: StazOn black
DSP: Kaleidoscope (mini catalog) cut into six squares (1-1/2")
other: neutral candy dots
stamp set: "Remembering Your Birthday"
