I figured I needed to get started on my Easter cards. This sample is pretty simple with the help of some die cuts I purchased called "Wonky Stitches" by Avery Elle. It may be hard to see in the picture, but the layers and banner are die cut with the faux stitched lines automatically included. I think it adds texture and visual interest.
The stamp sets used were "Crazy About You" for the sentiment, and "Number of Years" for the leaf and flower images. The inks used were Basic Gray, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, and Old Olive. The flowers were punched out of Calypso Coral cardstock. Little pearls were added to the flower centers. The card base is out of Crumb Cake, measuring 4-1/4" x 11". The layer and banner were attached using foam and dimensionals. The DSP layer is from "Wildflower Fields" which is a free SAB choice with a $50 purchase. This layout would be another good "keeper" card to have on hand and could be used for lots of different occasions just by switching out the sentiment.
Have a creative day!
